Mother nature will kick in and you know what to do and how to cope. It is not that hard. I have twins that are 15 months old now and I did it all by myself. My husband was in Iraq when they were born and he got to see them at 1 month old for 2 weeks then he went back until they were 10 months old. Be prepared for the worst thats what I did. You will be ok and you will get the hang of it faster than you think. Good Luck and God Bless

Good luck
I had a friend with twins,
Her Husband took two weeks off, and both the grandma came over to help after that. Twins are a lot of work, but they are twice of a bless
How to you cope: Help
If family not close, look into a nanny, or someone to help out
Names
I Do not Like name that match
Some people try to use the same letter, but different names, others goes with to names they like
You decided what you like
I like using Family names
Here are examples of twins I Know
Two Girls:
Samantha and Jordan
Anna and Antoinette
Crystal and Caitlin
Two boys:
Cory and Devin
Alex and Alfred
James and Joseph
One of each
Sierra and Garreth
Melina and Vincent
Michail and Michelle
Harris and Hannah
Name your twins what you like. This is what you need to do, if you decided what types of names, you can ask
There no wrong way to name a child, unless you do not name it something you like.
Good luck
Congratulations

Expect to be confused. Never sleeping does that to you.
Expect to be happy. When they finally sleep, you will be.
Expect to be tired. Maybe so tired you don't even know what you feel anymore.
Expect to be thirsty. And hungry. It's hard to find time to eat & drink.
Expect to run to the bathroom when someone can watch the kids for a minute. And until then, expect to be able to wait an awfully long time...
Expect to forget. Who is who. Who you fed last. Whether you changed A's diaper anytime recently. Whether you turned off the stove... Being tired does that to you...
Expect for it to get easier as time goes by. Especially after the age of 3.
Coping? Take it easy. Remember that a baby's cry is not the end of the world. Breastfeed. It makes things SO much easier. Sleep whenever you can. Let other people help you - when they offer help, say yes and find something for them to do, even if it's just folding the laundry or running out to buy salad vegetables.
Names? Avoid matching names. Each twin needs a separate identity.

My sister has a pair of 5 year old boy/girl twins. Her son wasn't a very good baby, always moody, always grabbed his sister's toys. Thankfully her daughter was really easygoing and didn't really mind. I will tell you this: There will be many sleepless nights and the best you can do if you don't have a night nanny is take turns with your bf/husband (assuming you're with someone) being up during the night. My sister was up from 12-4 and her husband from 4-8. There is nothing like the joy of holding them together when they're still really young and them starting to explore each other. My sisters twins laughed to each other all day when they were just a few months old. They learn together, sing songs together... It's tough but a great experience.
Congrats and good luck to you!

I have 2 sets of twins! You're going to be exhausted!! They don't ever want to sleep or eat at the same time. You'll get by just knowing that they're your little angels and that they will eventually get on the same schedule. As for names~ depends on if you want rhyming names or not! My boy/girl twins are Austin Lee and Autumn Leigh and my twin girls are Maygen Cheyenne and Morgan Shaylynn! If you want more opinions on names email me and I will email you a list of names I have come up with!

Just name your baby with names you like -not making it rhyme or sound like the other sibling or making one with A and one with B or both with the same first letter- it gets confusing.
Each child is their own person with their own personality. Let them have their individuality. If you want them to have "matching names" try it for the middle name and not the first. :) Also keep potential nicknames in mind.
As far as suggestions for names, are they both girl, both boys, boy/girl?
Emma, Jacob, Hannah, Ethan
way too many to list. Try searching Yahoo! for "baby names" - you will get lots of sites. Here are some to try.
