With this question, I am making an assumption that the Bible actually could have been God's words passed on to a person. (Which I don't believe.)
What if God was trying to explain something, such as how the world was created, but the author did not have the necessary background knowledge and vocabulary to fully understand what God was telling him? Perhaps the Big Bang theory holds true and God was trying to explain that. But without knowledge of something like atoms, the author would have a difficult time comprehending. For example, that would be like someone explaining quantum physics to a 10 year old (assuming the 10 year old has not learned the necessary science and math concepts to understand yet.) And then asking the 10 year old to write down what was explained, because it would be very important to the rest of man kind. I'm sure the child would do his best and may be able to grasp a few concepts, but would probably miss the boat on the majority of it.

When we read the bible seeking a true understanding of the history it is describing, I find it very helpful to consider the culture of that time. Without a doubt, these men were given knowledge from God. They wrote it down in words they understood, in parables relevant to their time. Just as you or I would if we were asked to preform the task. What is truly amazing about their writings is that they are so relevant for today! Thank God, we are intelligent beings capable of critical thinking. We have the ability to explore and understand.

Most people limit God in his abilities and seek to make a god in their own image. If you look at the universe you can see the witness of his power. The main reason people want to dismiss the bible as being the inspired Word of God is due to something it says they don't like. Everyone knows that there is an all powerful creator, some people's hearts are hardened from denying it, but saying hell doesn't exist doesn't make it one degree cooler. The fact is the science has discovered things in the bible that God had told his people that were years advanced of scientific knowledge. The health laws for example. Also things about the creation. Soon all will know the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ and there will be no debating the issue when he returns for all to see.

The point which you have overlooked is the fact that, by definition, G-d is perfect. Therefore if G-d wanted to transmit something to man, it is within His capacity to do so.
The idea, for those who believe that the Bible was transmitted by G-d to Moses, was that it was dictated, word for word, to Moses. It wasn't as if a bunch of crazy ideas were all bundled into his head and he was asked to write down what he could; every single letter was transmitted from G-d to Moses.
Along the same lines, there is the idea that the Bible is the blueprint for all of life, and just because we may not understand everything from reading it ourselves, that does not mean that the Bible does not contain all that wisdom.

Why would God's revelation to all of mankind be written at the level only a physicist would comprehend?
Yet there exists NO SINGLE SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY that has been shown to prove error, factually or doctrinally, in the Bible. There is plenty of speculation and hypotheses, but not a single verifiable fact. To make this claim alone is quite a feat for ancient texts, but when you add to it the fact that the Bible was written over more than 1,500 years by vastly different writers, yet every book in the Bible is consistent in its message.

This was not the case. The reality is that the bible was plagiarized from ancient texts written on stone from Sumer and stories were also taken from temples and pyramids from ancient Egypt. Almost every account in the bible can be found within these 2 cultures which predate the biblical record. This is why none of their stories can be found anywhere in his-story other than in the bible when it's a known fact that these cultures used to record everything.

You mean sheepherders of 2000 years ago could not understand evolution on the level of molecular genetics?
Or since ancient Greeks and Egyptians preceding the Bible actully determined the mathematical value of Pi, something that the Bible gets wrong in two places, maybe the Bible is fundamentally flawed.

God made sure that His word was and is fully comprehensible. The writers were moved by the Spirit of the Holy Ghost when writing!

If god can create the universe without man's help, he can write a friggin book without man's help. Every day I am freshly amazed at the number of pathetic, desperate people still clinging to idiotic medieval beliefs.
