check out claratin and allegra. They both are ok for pilots because of no side affects. I am not sure of pregnancy, so do your own checking for sure. Watch for prices I buy claratin for $7 per hundred (generic is loratadine), one per day generic for allegra is fexofenadine, more expensive.

My first suggestion would be to avoid the cat during pregnancy. Cats can harbor a parasite called Toxoplasma gondii which can be harmful to developing fetuses.

Barring that, my next suggestion would be a nasal steroid like Flonase or Rhinocort. They work mainly in the nasal passages and are not absorbed by the body to any major extent. You would need a prescription, however. I'd suggest discussing this with your obstetrician.

Just get rid of cat, especially since their litter is hazardous during pregnancy.

uhhh...get rid of the cat. the baby is more important, and I would think that YOUR health would be more important as well.

My doctor allows you to take Benedryl. Call your OB and ask what they allow.
