There is this guy named matt. He knows i like him and everything cus my friends told him. But he dosnt mind that i like him he just acts like my friend. We both flirt alot and everything but he is shy so is that the reason he wont ask me out or does he just not like me?

Because he is shy and knows you like him and still flirts with you shows he does like you. You need to make the first move. One day while you and him are joking around and flirting with each other, give him a hug and then plant a nice wet kiss on his lips. This will definitely break the ice and you will definitely know for sure if he wants to be bf and gf with you. Shy or not.

Here's the problem - Most guys are taught how to handle stuff like this wrongly. He doesn't have any idea how to ask you out, and he's shy. Either give him time, or you ask him out.

most guys don't have the courage to ask a girl out and just act like friends when they find out the girl likes them, if you've waited long enough, just ask him out to somewhere where you can find out like the movies or something, and get close to him, if he's into he'll say yes and if he tells you no tell him jeez i was jk i didn't think you thought it was serious

He may just not be into you that way. Sounds like he'd rather remain friends. Ask him how he feels. That way you will know for sure.
