It's quite hard to say it if you're dead . . .

It would be "Je suis mort(e)."
How you would say this if you are dead is beyond me, but I hope this helps.

well I was thinking je suis mort except that would form the passé compose, therefore making that statement mean "I died"... unless they consider it the same thing

"Je suis morte" if you're female
