I have seen this question asked several times, and all of the answers are, "Love conquers all," and "It shouldn't matter." Please spare me. Chances of a 6'0" woman dating a 5'2" man is pretty slim. Even if you do choose that, it more than likely wasn't what you were looking for. So basically, I want to know your ideal height difference. I asked a height question before, but I didn't take the responders height into consideration. So now I will. Example: I'm 5'3, and I prefer men between 6'0-6'2. My entire range is 5'10-6'4.

Well I'm a guy 5'10" and i _prefer_ girls who are petite—say 5'3"-5'4" and under (no lower limit.) But if a girl's attractive I'm not going to let a little thing like height stop me, it's just a preference.

Most of my girlfriends have been taller that that, and I certainly wouldn't say it was any kind of impediment, either logistics-wise or in terms of attraction. Tallest girl I ever went out with was 5'9". In fact, after we broke up she started going with a guy who's about 5'5" and they've been together for about 3 years now. Come to think of it, I'd really like to date a girl taller than me someday, just for try it..

I'm not gonna give you all that "love conquers all" crap, because the fact is that if it matters to you, then it matters. But I do think that for lot of people it's not an issue; for others it is, and that's that.

Actually I'm really interested to see what the girls say about this. Good question.

In my opinion I want a guy that is at least 3 inches taller than me because I like wearing heels a lot so 5'7" and up is good for me preferably taller but that's a good height to me for a guy.

I would say for any woman, at least 7 inches, because you can still wear heels and it won't look like you're overpowering him. I'm 4'11 and pretty skinny, I always used to like guys being 6feet. My husband is 5'9 though, it's funny seeing him bend down to kiss me and pick me up. I like it when I wear heels though, I feel we look better together. I have a friend that she's 5'1. and her husband is 6'4 and another friend that is 5ft and her fiance is at least 6'2. They would look better with heels on, their guys just crowd over everybody.

wow lady - you sure go for a tall man!! I'm 5'1, and my husband is 5'7. It is a nice height difference - i dont have to crane my neck when i want to kiss him!!!! You dont generally get guys shorter than me, but i wouldnt have a problem with dating a shorter guy - might feel like a kid though (and i dont think hubby would like it much!!)

Does height really matter??? If you truely love someone then height doesn't matter. Im vertically challenged, Im 5'1. But my boyfriend on the other hand is 6'7. Quite odd, but I get good calf muscles!...teehee

I'm 5ft2 and my husband is 6ft2. But my ex bf was only 5ft5, it really doesn't matter that much to me, as long as he is taller than me lol.

HTH : )
