Does your computer have a digital ATSC Tuner?

If you don't have an ATSC tuner you can't receive HD programming, even though you see the little HD logo on your screen. Check the specs of your TV Tuner card.

If you have an ATSC Tuner, HD channels are usually in the .1 or .2 channels

Example: 5 is SD CBS (analog)
5.1 is digital CBS (which may be HD or SD)

The demo file may have been 1080p, your tv show may have been 480i resulting in a lower quality picture.

seems such as you will possibly be able to desire to hook an audio cable ( 2 connectors on each and each end, pink& white) from audio out on cable field (or satellite tv for pc field) to audio in on your receiver. I had the comparable concern. The ingredient cable wasn't sufficient. It mandatory that audio one too. desire this helps, because there wasn't plenty to circulate on. good success.
