I don't know about vitamins helping. My mom has suffered from mouth ulcers for years and the dentist never told her anything about taking a certain vitamin. My mom is good about eating healthy and she takes her vitamins and all. She did notice that eating foods that are acidic cause breakouts. She switched her toothpaste as well. Rembrant makes a toothpaste that is specifically for people with mouth ulcers. My mom found this gave her much needed relief. Also taking a tea bag (after using it in hot water so it is activated) and pressing it against the ulcer helps, or try baking soda or gargle with salt water. Hope this helped!

Damage from brushing your teeth too vigorously, from orthodontic braces or biting the inside of your mouth.
Most common in teens stress related mouth ulcers will heal within a couple of weeks. Prevention is by resolving stress related problems or using stress busting relaxation strategies.

There's no obvious reason, you just get them, but you should ask yourG.P for Diflam its like a mouth wash and you just use it as a mouth wash {dont swallow} i've suffered with very bad ulcers since i gave up smoking and this is the only thing that helped me
good luck.

THERE ARE MANY KINDS OF ULCERS AND MANY SEASONS.
THE MOST COMMONS ARE CANKER SORES WHICH ARE CAUSED BY THE HERPES VIRUS.
THERE ARE VITAMINS TO CURE THESE, BUT IT WOULD BE PRUDENT TO TAKE A DAILY MULTIVITAMIN WITH IRON IF YOU'RE FEMALE.
