i haven't worked at it for 10 years. i have recently finished my nebosh health and safety certificate. my wife is 37 and just finishing nvq2 in childcare learning and development and doesn't know wether to do her foundation degree in childhood studies or would she be better off doing a hairdressing course which would be best to emigrate?

as far as i know they prefer skilled people to emigrate so i would think childcare would be more benificial, lots of people would need kids looking after and your wife could probably start work easier, but i suppose it is up to your wife, what does she want to do??
if you do go i hope you have a wonderful new start in life

Have a look at the Department of Immigration web site
http://www.immi.gov.au
They tell you about occupations that are in demand and about transferring qualifications.
