Hell yeah, you were knocked out. It doesn't take a lot to get inexperienced people drunk, and you're tiny. Next time eat before drinking, NEVER mix drinks, and, if you know you'll drink a lot, take an aspirin before and after drinking. And drink a lot of water - dehydration is 70% of a hangover.

the difference between drunk and buzzed is a gray line. Alcohol has the unique ability to constantly affect you the more you consume (unlike smoking marijuana where there is a ceiling of effect). I would say dizziness and decreased motor function would constitute drunk based on drinking laws, such as drinking and driving. In Michigan, the legal limit is .08% BAC. Around that is where you stop being buzzed and start being drunk, although once alcohol is in your system, it affects all things it will later effect with the exception of "blacking out" which is essentially your brain deciding to keep your vitals running or your conscious fully operational. Obviously your subconscious is smarter than most abusive drinkers because most of the time it will pick the organs. Continued drinking though can start to shut down organs based on the toxicity of alcohol in your system (alcohol poisoning).
So drink smart and know your limit.
Here's a link to see about where you were:

You were drunk. Buzz is a pleasant feeling between sober and not being able to walk. Mad drunk will give you the headache the next day. Shots are also literally a shot to your system from ingesting it so fast instead of sipping. Just take it easy the next time. You don't want to be out of control and do something stupid.

what kind of shots did you receive. You could of had a reaction. Usually 1 drink will make you dizzy if you drink it fast. Drinks with fruit juice or sugar can get you drunker faster. Drink plenty of water and take some aspirin. it will pass. You could have another drink but that will just start the process again.

30 proof, you better be careful with that stuff. Next time try some vodka, and then you'll be sure that you were drunk. (But only drink if you are 21 or older, I do not promote underage drinking)

If you couldn't walk straight, it is safe to say you were beyond buzzed and were drunk.
