it depends why you cancelled. if it was for a genuine reason eg being ill or something beyond your control then any decent person would accept this & understand the situation. Even if it was just a case of you have been working alot & are too tired, he should be able to appreciate that sometimes we all need chance to relax & need time on our own to do this.
Nobody deserves to have a drunken phone call from a boyfriend who is clearly sulking about being stood up. ok, maybe you could have given him more notice but in this life sometimes things happen & you can't always be considerate. If your boyfriend reacts that badly, it suggests he is either very immature, obsessive or a control freak. I would think seriously about whether YOU wish to accept this behaviour!

I think it depends on why you cancelled. If it was for a selfish reason, than more than likely it was wrong. But if he's just too damn clingy and needs you on his arm at all times, then oh well. And besides that, if he's drunk then he's not really being honest, he's just letting out his emotions. So don't worry about it hun, just talk to him and let him know how you feel about things. There's no way this can get worse, only better. Good luck!

yes, at the last moment unless it was a matter of life or death. otherwise, you are more than being rude and inconsiderate. just reverse the situation and be honest to yourself...how would you feel if your boyfriend called off a date at the last moment....2 times in a row?

I wouldn't say badly, but it is very rude! It makes him think that you dont want to spend time with him. You have a lot of making up to do. You'd feel the same if he'd done it to you!

cancelling at the last minute is a bit inconsiderate you should give him some more attention he obviously feels neglected and I'm sure you wouldn't like to be treated that way.

Cancelling twice in a row is pretty bad, I'm sure I'd be miffed, feel let down, taken for granted etc.....
Things happen(unknown to us) for you to cancel, so your gonna have to make it up to him.
Im sure once he discovers that your not wasting his time, he will apologise for the drunken phone call.

He probably thinks you really don't care about him... you need to truly tell him what you think about him or it's playing with his feelings. And date cancelled at the last minute twice really hurts!!!!!
