Your LDL (bad) cholesterol number is important. It gives you and your doctor a standard for good health, much like your temperature, pulse, or blood pressure. Your LDL (bad) cholesterol goal number will be based on your current and historical medical situation and any risk factors you may have for heart disease. The average person should try to maintain an LDL (bad) cholesterol level below 130 mg/dL.* If you have heart disease or diabetes, your goal is less than 100 mg/dL. If you don't know what your individual LDL (bad) cholesterol goal should be, ask your doctor.
But less than 200 is great for adults! Just like someone said up there..oatmeal is good for you also! don't forget to exercise! It also depends on your weight,. it isn't the same for everybody.

Yes, If she has had sex. Other people here said that you have to have your first period in order to get pregnant, but that is not true. You get your period after you ovulate and it is possible to get pregnant on the first time you ovulate, which would be before your first period. Edit: OH! you're asking WHY a young girl would get pregnant? That's easy, they are stupid. They think that sex is just for fun, it's cool, they are really in love with some guy or just plain hormone crazy. And even if they use a condom/ other contreceptives they are never 100% effective against preganancy or STDs (the only 100% method is abstinence which means not having sex). So yes a lot of these young girls have sex and VOILA they become pregnant.

not at all, that is a vary exceptable value for total cholesterol. how is your HDL-C:LDL-C ratio? that ratio is is actually a more important factor in determining the reduced risk for CVD, etc.
