kids have rules because their parents care about them. If they didn't care, they would let you do what ever you wanted to do.
If a special ocassion comes up.. ask for an exception.. give them an out.. parents don't like to be put in a corner, where their only option is NO. So for a special circumstance.....big dance, etc... ask your parents if they will chaperone the dance if you go?? give them an out.. That way they can still protect you, still have some rules, and still give you some freedom. You get to prove you can handle that freedom. Just don't screw it up.

Your answer is NO!
I'm sure they have a good reason. They've had more experiences than you. Unfortunately some times it take a couple of bad choices to trust your parents judgement. Hopefully those bad choices don't put you in the hospital, in court or worse dead.

You don't do anything......if your parents can't trust you, then they'll never let you date. Your going to have to gain their trust....and eventually, they'll let you date. When they set a time for you to come in.....then come in a little early. Just keep this in mind: your parents were young once. They know all the excuses and the lies. Don't try to lie to them at all....they've been there already. Best of luck to you.

Keep talking to your parents about it to understand why. Behave in a more adult manner. Take on responsibilities willingly. As you show more maturity in your decision making and conversations , that show patience and cooperation with your parents they will soon see you are ready to date.Yes that's too much to ask cause they are just to mean and stupid but they will get smarter sooner if you follow the above.

It is frustrating when you want to do something like date and your parents want to control you and to prevent you from dating.
Parents usually do this with the motivation of keeping their children safe and trying to stop them from having sex. Their motivation isn't to keep their children from having fun, although it does feel like that at times. Parents prefer their children to concentrate on school rather than the stresses of a romantic and possibly sexual relationship.
An alternative to "dating" is to plan activities in groups and or with a chaperon. It is very healthy for a young person to be social and to attend activities with friends. This is much healthier than isolating oneself from friends and limiting activities to only one person. Many people complain when their friends pair up because they often become enmeshed with one person and neglect their friends.
Kind regards

Don't date. Parents set rules for a reason... to keep you safe. I know everybody says this, but when you become a parent you will understand, trust me!

Depends on how old you are. If you're young you don't do anything about it. The time will come when you're old enough.
