The 44-acre Lake Lloyd, a man-made lake, was formed to provide the dirt used to build the famous 31-degree high banks. In the past it has hosted powerboat racing.

When they were building the banks, they needed dirt. It's name is Lake Lloyd, and sometimes they use it for boat races. But now it just seems like a retention pond.

the dirt for the banks. i dont know if anyone has ever been there before, but its pretty awesome. you can get a tour of the track on a tram and go down pit road. it was one of the coolest things ive ever done.
