Why do some men like women that are built like 8 year old boys?

I've heard some guys on here say they like women to have a 30 inch bust 22 inch waist and 32 inch hips?? My 9 year old nephew sounds like that description.

Seriously, what is wrong with these guys! Everyone has the right to their personal preference, but what makes a guy think that a female built like a pre-adolescent boy look attractive, please someone tell me??

Yep, Button I think you hit the nail on the head. Because men want to feel big and masculine, instead of going down to the gym and bulking up, it's far easier to become obsessed with women that are built like little boys. That is selfish, lazy and pathetic IMO.

Paris, this is beyond size 0, like I said this is like negative sizes! Seriously, are you telling me flat chest and no butt looks good? Are you deluded like the rest of them?

Just to clarify, my issue is not with the women who happen to naturally built this way (but that is not common), my issue is with the men who demand women be this thin and then trigger off eating disorders. If I'm touchy about the subject, I think you can understand where I might be coming from. Thank you.

To Johnny: I don't think you get my point at all, I'm not saying there is a problem with 'slender' women, I am talking about extremely skinny women women that are not even a size 0.

I'm only a size 6-8 and 120lb, so I'm hardly above average size! It's easy to make assumptions isn't it? But my issues stem from the fact that I have been the victim of an eating disorder, and I know there are girls out there starving themselves to be rail thin.

And the measurement I stated of 30-22-32 are typical of an 8 year old, this is not an exaggeration, it's true. Like I said, women who are naturally this thin are fine, they cannot help it, but the vast majority of women with those measurement are not and they are literally starving themselves and look skeletal. Maybe you should read my question before properly before making random assumptions about me.

Also Johnny, this has absolutely nothing to do with larger women versus smaller women.

This was about men who like extremely skinny women and pushing their ideals onto ALL women and triggering eating disorders. That is my issue and with good reason too.

Do you think Nicole Richie looked good at 82lb then?? Because that is what I am referring to!!!!!!!!

First of all, you also need to look at the other side of things. I understand how America is making everyone feel as if they need to have some kind of eating disorder to fit in but it's hard to be on the other side and try to gain weight. My whole life I battle with not being able to gain weight I was like 80 pounds until I was 15 and believe me I try to eat and gain weight and it wasn't easy. Everyone was telling me that I was sick and needed to gain weight b/c this is not normal. Like I didn't know i had to gain weight. Doctors said I didn't have anything wrong with my health it's just that all my family are petite so I tried to deal with it and it was very hard. I wanted to be built like a regular girl thighs, hips, butt and all but I didn't have any of them. I was made fun of a lot. And I mean A LOT!! Now I'm 24 years old and am still petite but I have high choloesterol b/c all this time I was trying to gain weight eating fast food, greasy food and all it did't make me gain weight then but now my health is not good. I look good though proportioned and all I'm still petite but I'm a petite hourglass and I'm loving it. Everyone love my shape including me I have the same shape as Eva Longoria. The morale of this is that some people can't help their gene no matter what they do so when people like you is critizing small girls looking like boys is not right b/c they have feeling too and putting them down like that is not right. As for guys who like girls like that oh well let it be what do you care if you know you're healthy and you love your body than don't worry about other people. Because trust me body insecurity goes both ways when you're small or when you're big. There are a lot of guys especially where I am down south who hates skinny girls like me if you're not thick than you're not wanted. If you look very skinny or bony they assume that you're starving yourself or something. So believe me society ostracize both sides if you too small or too big.

Well, you know it's a good thing that someone does like women who look like that, because otherwise they would have to remain celibate and single - and that's not fair.

Surely all sizes and shapes of healthy womanhood should be celebrated and loved, including the very slender?

haha, this question is so funny cause I know exactly what your talking about. Those petite, very little girls, with short haircuts, resembling a 8 year old boys. I honestly couldnt tell you what a guy finds attractive in them. Some guys I guess like really petite girls. haha who knows man who knows

I think it's just that guys "think" that's how women look pretty. The hourglass figure. I'm interested though, you nephew looks like that? wow

but overall, it doesn't matter, i know some guys that likes a little flabs, it's like cushion to them. I don't know if that helps but yeah.

I'm going to agree with Paris. Some men prefer large women, some don't. I don't know if it really matters all that much to men. Now I'm not a doctor, so it's just my opinion.

Me personally, prefer slender women. Now I'm been out with all sorts of shapes and sizes, but I "prefer" slender women. And I don't think slender women look like an 8yr old boy. If an "above average" women treats me good, then yes, I'd go out with her. If a "slender" woman treats me good, then yes again, I'd go out with her. You sound a lot like my "above average" friends who constantly criticize, and don't have one thing nice to say about "slender" looking women. They have nothing nice to say about any female who weighs less than they do.

I'm not muscular, good looking, don't make a lot of money, and drive a vehicle that's over 10 yrs old, so should I say that all women are gold diggers because they're not attracted to me for what I have? I think not.

We all have preferences in our everyday decisions, just like we prefer certain characteristics of the opposite sex. Because "I" prefer a certain body type does not mean every man on the plaent prefers that body type. Most men prefer big breasted women, me? The complete opposite. So don't hate so much.

I dont know. That is just creepy. Plus, women are built the way they are, some may be that way, but it isnt normal
