How can you tell when a girl is trying to hint that she likes/wants to go out with you?

This girl asked me for my phone number so i got hers shall i text or ring her?

I usually start to talk to the person and ask as many questions I can think of to find out if we have and what we have in common(that's usefull for later)..
And I look at the guy and smile to him..
If I see that he is interested and I feel comfortable I will sometimes touch his hand or shoulder while talking,but not anything agressive..

I believe there are tendencies for the girl(and the boy) to mirror one anothers movements and facial expressions. People tend to touch their their own throat and mouth whist in conversation with their 'chosen one', as well as flush red on the neck.
