Don not feed dogs any chocolate or any other substance made of cocoa bean it can kill some dogs and make others very sick . I have known some dogs who have eaten chocolate and been perfectly fine but it's not worth the risk.

Chocolate is definitely a NO NO NO! Actually, on the Rachel Ray show last week (February 16) she had a segment about the Pet ER in New York and had as a guest the lead vet from the hospital. The vet said that not only was chocolate a no-no but also grapes and raisins which can cause kidney problems and onions and garlic which can lead to anemia. Check out the sites below.

Milk chocoalat eis probably not fatal, but it's not a good idea! It only takes 2.2 grams (about 1/16 of a regular size candy bar) of pure chocoalte to kill a 50 pound dog. Milk chocolate is not pure chocolate, but if it is even 1/16 chocolate, then 1 milk chocolate candy bar could kill a 50 pound dog! Don't get your dog interested in chocolate, cuz he could get ahold of too much. Give him something else as a treat. If you hav eto use human food, try bits of cheese or something like that, not candy.

Yes their happens to be a type of chocolate you can give dogs it happens to be the little tiny chocolate chips because a little bit of it wont hurt. But if you give them any other type of chocolate your dog will definitely die.The only way it won't die if the chocolate will be mixed with the food. But other wise chocolate will kill dogs. And for the chocolate chips that are mixed in minty ice creme. That stuff makes humans over weight and so forth for dogs.

How many times dose it need to be said do not feed your dog chocolate. If you love your dog and you read 100s of times chocolate is bad for them then why would you risk it. I do not care how old you are if yoy can type the question you are old enought to know you should not do it. How about everyone use their brains.

Don't. People say it's bad, and that is sometimes true. To a really big dog, it wont hurt if they eat a chocolate cookie, But don't feed it to them just in case. It can really hurt small dogs.

Dogs will eat anything, mine eats carrots and grapes... Why would you want to feed him chocolate, though? Give him whole grain rice with chicken broth for a nice treat!

NO. You cannot give real chocolate to your dogs. It will KILL them if they eat enough (which is more or less depending on your dog.) If you want to give them something chocolate, give them carob, an imitation chocolate.
Why would you want to see if your dog would eat something you think may poison him?!
