I am intersted in making my own kids line cause Im sick of whats out there for boys especially.
Its like all you see for boys ether has a dog on it or a car, I want something more interesting.

It is all going to be made by me and my sewing machine in my workshop, limited availabilty for the first while, I am a house mom so I have alot of free time in a sense.

If you advertise really good it may be successful. I don't mean by going out and spending tons of money either. Usually if you tell a couple people, they will tell a couple people, will will tell more people and so on, these people will want to check it out. I'd like to find something different for my girls that have something besides flowers or cartoon characters on them....lol

I have a little boy and I would be interested. I am sick of little boys clothes being so bland. I find they are the same as mens just smaller or have a typical boy thing on the front. I feel that boys can wear colours to and can look like little boys not men.

the idea is good. the hardest part of this is actually starting to make the product with enough margin to make a decent profit. you should do a lot of planning. try making some prototypes,and see how much (and how long) they take to make, then find a selling price,and do a survey around town. remember,if your resources are limited,production costs will be hard to keep down unless you have great machinery or cheap payroll.

I only have a daughter right now, and someone once asked me if I would like to have a son...my (joking) response was 'No. I don't like the boy's clothing!
Don't get me wrong, if I did have a son, I would want him- I don't like the clothing situation for boys though.
Get yourt webpage up and running, I think that it would be very popular indeed, you could make your fortunes from this!

You might find a niche market for yourself. However, your production costs will be higher than a mass producer, so your retail prices will also be higher. You may find an interested audience, but the majority of shoppers will still be more interested in the cheaper mass produced items.
