Is it possible to have an addiction to money? I think about it all during the day, I dont care about family, my health or anything else. If im not getting it im physically sick and dont want to live anymore, when Im getting it or have it im happy and joyful. I havent done anything illegal yet but i feel that under the right circumstances and the right amount I could kill someone over it. I do actually have some but its never enough and Ive totally dedicated my life to it, it consumes me.

I had that problem at one time. It is a "cash flow" existence. It is not healthy, it can cause you many problems. Re-evaluate your Values. You will be OK after that.

I wonder how old you are?

If you are old and skint, the state will look after you.
If you are young and skint, perhaps what you have is ambition.

I never really wanted to be rich, I just didn't want to be broke and it takes a lifetime to be rich enough to not worry about money.
We all (most) worry about money but I found that it's no good if you get it the naughty way and haveing got it so that you can have fun, you need to share the fun for it to be any good, so along the way you need to look after those around you.
Now that I am an old fart, I have enough to relax with and someone to share it with but it has been bloody hard work, and worth it!!

Keep trying

Yes, I would say that you have an addiction to money. There are a lot of people out there that do, so you're not alone. You need to get in to see a counselor. Just look under the yellow pages for one close to you. They can help you through this and help you get your life together. Good luck!
