Sweetheart, don't worry. Breast tissue is normally bumpy. You're just feeling the normal tissue. Perform the self-breast exam each month to learn what's normal for your breasts. In this way, you'll know if you detect any changes. Learn how to perform SBE (self-breast exam) from your OB/Gyn, pediatrician or go online and you'll find some very good sites for this. While Asian women have a lower risk for breast cancer, they are not immune to it and due to a Western diet, that risk increases year by year.
It is extremely unlikely that you, at 15, have developed breast cancer. I hope you'll listen to a nurse who worked Oncology and Head & Neck Oncology Surgery rather than to someone who's wife is a medical assistant in an Oncology office.

Breast melanoma is under no circumstances honestly considered 'cured', considering that it might return at any time - even years after diagnosis and treatment. That does not imply breast melanoma is never cured, just that it can be not feasible to claim for certain whether any person who's had breast cancer is cured. The term 'no proof of disorder' (NED) is used instead. No, breast cancer shouldn't be moe easily cured or dealt with than other cancers. And sure, folks di of it. In the USA an normal of 112 ladies a day (that is one evey quarter-hour) die from breast cancer; within the UK that average is 33 a day. UT there are more breast caner survivors than ever earlier than, and if breast melanoma is observed in its early levels the prognosis will also be excellent. Even when it's not caught early, the effect can also be excellent; I used to be identified with stage 3 breast cancer over 6 years ago. I had surgery, chemo, radiotherapy and hormone therapy. I'm currently match and well without a sign of melanoma.

The reason why you have to check the breasts regulary is because they tend to be lumpy. You have to know when a new lump occurs. Sometimes it is just a cyst, and not cancerous but it has to be checked to be sure. Also, finding a lump that is cancerous means that the cancer has advanced already. It is a late finding. That's why women over thirty have to get yearly mamograms. Asians usually don't get breast cancer because of their diets (in my opinion). If you eat a typical american diet you are more at risk. (In my opinion).

ANYONE can get cancer of any kind, but because of your age I would say you have 99% nothing to worry about.. Most breast lumps are not cancer. Benign or non-cancerous breast conditions are very common. In any age and race. In fact, most breast conditions or changes found in the breast and examined under the microscope are benign and these changes can be found in most women.
Now read this
Fibroadenomas are the most common benign tumors of the female breast. They develop at any age but are more common in young women, often teenagers, and are mistaken for cancer. They may be excised but frequently recur.
Nearly 90% of breast masses in women are the result of benign lesions and are usually fibroadenomas in women in their 20s or 30s. IN teens its almost 100% Fibroadenomas witch is not deadly and cancer..
Palpable mass for young women, feels like small, slipper marbles.
Unknown cause; possibly due to increased fat consumption.
- Composed of BOTH fibrous and glandular tissue.
- More frequent occurence in upper outer quadrant of breast.
- Can grow as a spherical nodule to a size from <1cm to 10-15cms.
- Fibroadenomas are hormonally responsive - increases in size may occur during late phases of the menstrual cycle
You should go see your doctor and they will tell you its nothing... Your too young and if at the worse it will be Fibroadenomas... Witch can be treated and does not mean you will ever get breast cancer... So relax hun your ok!!!!

There are more than one hundred types of cancers and each type of cancer has different symptoms. Many of these symptoms are also associated with common ailments, so only thorough checkup by a doctor, can identify the real problem . More details and information at http://candp.org/

Everyone is susceptible to breast cancer.
It is very good that you are checking up on yourself. However, given your age, I would say that the bumps and lumps are developing breast tissue. Although you already have breasts, they aren't quite done maturing yet.
If you are really freaked out, see a doctor. It will be better to get this out of your mind, to relieve yourself from the stress.

It's not true that Asians don't get breast cancer, but you are young and it's not likely that you need to worry. Lumps can be benign cysts or even calcium deposits. NHext time you see your doctor ask...

Anyone, including men are susceptible to breast cancer.
Lumps are not always a sign of cancer. If you feel lumps, please see an Oncologist to check it out. Waiting is not a good idea, especially if the lumps get bigger, change shape, multiply or become painful.
My wife is a medical assistant (and Chinese) working for an Oncologist.
