I've had the same problem, there is no way that you can find out, unless you ask him, and that is probably not a very good idea. I'd say just hang in there and give your relationship time. The closer you get, the more chance you have of being together. Thats what I did anyway, and it worked for me!

well the only way u can know is to ask him and normally, i would be all for that, but i say wait a bit. he's just split up with your friend so give him some time. u don't want to have a relationship with him and end it in few months. continue as u are, as friends, getting closer and see what happens.

Sadly the only way you'll ever find out is by asking or by making a move. I suggest the first option. Tell him that you have noticed that you are getting a lot closer lately and see where that leads. It's a tricky thing to do, but hopefully he'll be able to talk about it.

you can only ask him...if he is a good friend like you say he is you'll be able to talk to him about it. also you have to ask ourself if you do get with him will you be okay with the fact that he went out with your friend, and this will not bug you in the future while your with him? somethingto think about. good luck! x

stop trying to rush things. and stop discussing him with your friend. If he likes you he will ask you out againbut i stress - STOP DISCUSSING HIM WITH YOUR FRIENDS.
