2 of my friends took an adderall yesterday and they cleaned the entire house top to bottom and were super happy and positive, I want this too but I think adderall has too many side affects after taking it for a long time, What are some other medications that enhance the brains function and are basically the same as adderall and how well do they work over time?

adderall is amphetamine = speed = the real deal. Not many other substances come close, and if they do, they are definately illegal schedule 2 substances.

medicine works by correcting chemical imbalances in your body. If you don't have ADD, dont take medicine for it because it can have some really bad side affects, especially adderall i've heard. You'll get extremely irritable and violent are some of the side effects. Coke and LSD also enhance brain function (at least you feel like it) but I wouldn't really recommend trying those.

No...you won't be in a position to. it incredibly is a prescription drug. you're able to bypass to a doctor to receive a prescription for adderall. This medicine might properly be habit forming and could be used with warning.

It doesn't matter what other drugs you take, they all have bad side affects. I have ADD and OCD (although they are sort of one and the same, there are differences) I learned to control my situation by myself because the meds I was on were causing problems. Not so much side effects, but dependency. After a while your body doesn't make what it needs anymore and you are dependent on the drugs to give you enough boost just to get back to normal

I'm not really sure about other medications, but I know adderall is not great. a lot of my friends claim to have a.d.d. or whatever, and so they take it. but what I have seen is that they use it to their advantage, like taking it to help them not be hungry because it supresses their hunger. one of my friends takes the pill to school and plays with it inside. another one takes it at night, not in the morning, so she can learn guitar tabs. so if you aren't going to take it seriously, then don't take it at all.

Amphetamines and amphetamine-like drugs are all too dangerous to take lightly. The best substitute with a reasonable safety profile is caffeine. Have a latte and go to it.
