ok, its like this. accomodation situation down here(university of zambia, southern africa), is really tight, so much that even store rooms or should i say former stoerooms are now used as students, living quaters. the room i was given is smala nd poorly ventilated this induces asthmatic attacks at nightand naturally i have difficulty sleepin. the key custodian of the section of hostels where my room is has assured me that he would see to it that i get a better room but only if it is endosed by the dean of students affairs. this lands me in my dilema. i need to write a letter to him, to ask for the change. how do i go about it.

Just state your case clearly and concisely - that you wish to move to a room that has better ventilation, as your current room is aggravating your asthma and this, in turn, is affecting your studies.

Explain that you've already spoken to the custodian, and that he suggested you should write to ask for endorsement.

It's not rocket science! Just make sure all your spelling is correct...!
