I used to just go to the supermarket and buy raw almonds in the bulk aisle when I lived in the US - they're a great snack. Here in the UK, they only are sold in the local Sainsbury's in small packets and they're EXPENSIVE for how much you get. Where can you get reasonably priced good quantities (like, say a pound) of natural almonds in the UK? I don't want mixed nuts.

Holland & Barrett or Julian Graves. Both these chain of shops stock them.

Are the probably one of the cheapest in UK and really good quality. Thats where Boots and other supermarkets get their supply from, but thats a trade secret...
