My sister took spanish in high school, and she had to make a recipe, soo she made spanish rice, and here is in the ingrediants, you need 1 box of minute rice, half pound of sliced bacon, 1 onion chopped, 1 green pepper chopped, 1 can of hunts tomato sauce, First fry the bacon, in skillet, cut it into bits, and fry, then add your green pepper , then onion, then tomato sauce, put on simmer, mix it up, then in about 5 minutes, add your rice, put the skillet on low, And keep mixing the rice in with the sauce, till it gets real thick, Add a little tabasco sauce to it, just a pitch, dont go over board, The aroma says spanish, and the taste is soo terrific, my sister got a A omn her report, the teacher wanted her give the class the recipe, she refused, and then things got sticky, Lol well good luck, i hope you try this

Does it have to be from SPAIN?
If so, he should make gazpacho. It is a cold soup, made from fresh veggies.
GAZPACHO:
8 roma tomatoes, peeled
1 large cucumber, peeled and seeded
1/2 medium white onion
1 clove garlic
2T olive oil
2T red wine vinegar
Salt to taste
finely chopped parsley
Cut all the tomatoes, the onion, garlic oil, vinegar, salt and 1/2 the cucumber in a blender, and blend until smooth.
Dice the other 1/2 cucumber small dice, and stir into the gazpacho (do NOT blend anymore).
Serve in bowls or glasses topped with the chopped parsley and a few garlic croutons. SERVE COLD.

does he have to take this to school? this would be easy....... taco salad------bag of tostada chips, browned hamburger meat, shreaded cheese, cut scallions, black olives, sour cream. oh and pace picante sauce. choose the ones you want or add your own. you take all this to school with your little bowls and forks. the kids get a handful of chips and crumble into bowl. then they add ther meat, cheese and whatever toppings they choose. it's like a taco salad buffet.
