The vet wont care that they are not tollerated in the state and if they say something say it is a mix breed and that you dont know what it is. Get him to a vet he could have mange, a skin allergy, staff infection, or a hundred other things. He is not comfortable in his own skin Imiagine if it were you how would you feel if you had bumps and open sores on your body would you go to the doctor I think oyu know the anser. You know what you have to do now just do it.

How old are your puppies?
What are you feeding them?
Are the puppies itching?
Are there scabs?
Where did you get them?
Have you bathed them? (if so, what shampoo did you use on them?)
The skin problems may be caused by an allergy.
My sister's pit is highly allergic to corn and we accidentally got him dog food with corn in it one time so he broke out in hives and there were little bumps all over his body.
If it is a food allergy that the pups are suffering from, change their food. Some benadryl would help to, but I do not know the proper dose since I have no idea how old the pups are or how much they weigh.
I have never seen my sister's dog bleed though and his hair didn't fall out, so I'm thinking your puppies might have a severe mange infestation. Mange should be diagnosed by a vet and if the puppies are positive for mange they will need prescription medication from the vet.
I would highly suggest you take them to the vet, but since you say they will put them to sleep, maybe you can lie about their breed. There is no scientific way for someone to determine if your dogs are actually pit bulls. My brother's pit was brindle and white so he just told the landlord that she was a boxer/lab mix so he could get an apartment, since the landlord doesn't allow pit bulls.
Also, you should stop brushing them because it is probably painful for them to be brushed right now.
Anyways, I hope your puppies get better. Good Luck.

First of all be careful with that no pit law and nosey neighbors. Your going to fall in love and they will end up being snatched away from you and killed. Your a brave soul cuz I dont think I could put my heart on the line like that! Anyway I dont know what your budget is like, but from experience the first thing I would do is change their food to a hypoallergenic one like Dick Van Patten's. You can go to http://www.petco.com or http://www.petsmart.com and browse the Ultra Premium and Holistic dog foods and compare pricing. I pay $44 for a 33 pound bag of Dick Van Patten's Ultra Premium dog food and it has helped my dogs skin a whole lot!!! Do not give your dogs any corn, wheat, peanut butter--alot of dogs have allergies to this stuff and it shows in their skin! There also are some websites that I refer to very frequently as I have been dealing with very similar problems w/my dogs skin too. I have been to the vet and have paid very pricey amounts for meds that DO NOT even make a difference, so Ive turned to homeopathic meds & natural herbal remedies in which I actually see improvements in my dogs skin and her hair is growing back and her skin is almost normal now. Below are several of my favorite websites that have helped me in my quest to cure my dogs skin issues. Do research and read, read, read! Feel free to e-mail me.

First of all, it's pretty irresponsible of you to breed an illegal animal in your area. It's not fair to your pets either. Shame on you, shame shame. Pitbulls have a hard enough time getting a good shake on things without people irresponsibly breeding them. The dogs end up looking bad and ultimately THEY pay the price by being put down, not you.
Your ONLY option is to take them to the vet. It sounds like they have mange or some severe allergic reaction and they will need medicine.
It's backyard breeders like you who fill shelters with thousands of unwanted puppies. You shouldn't be allowed to own an unspayed animal, if any animal at all.

Sounds like possibly mange. If it is illegal to have them, why'd you get them? What are you planning to do for their vaccinations? What will you do if they get hurt? If it's mange,or if not... they need to be seen by a vet. If I were you, I would IMMEDIATELY travel to a vet where it is legal to have them. Get them treated, then find them a home where someone can take proper care of them

it sounds like mange. they need special medicine for that and you can only get it from a vet. why did you breed knowing that it is illegal in your area. if somebody does not like that breed or you the dogs will be destroyed no matter if they are pups or not. that is how it is where i live PS> FIND A RESCUE LEAGUE AND DO NOT BREED AGAIN

Sounds like mange....since they are pups.......most likely demodetic mange. You will have to take them to a vet or they will all die.....slowly and painfully
