Try not straightening it everyday unless you absolutely can't stand your curls. you could put some gel in it after washing and combing.
If you want to straighten it and it not be poofy...use a good conditioner. even a conditioning treatmen. garnier fructis makes a good one.

Try different shampoos and sprays. There is normally prouducts out there that are made for really frizzy hair. Find the best one for you. If you want to chat with a hair stylist she/he is sure to have some ideas about what to do fo frizzy hair. Good Luck

your hair is probably becoming poofy because you aren't coating your hair with something before you straighten it! try using VO5 hair gel....put a little in your hand and put a little water and run through a section of your hair. then straighten it.....using this gel also makes your hair shiny and feel silky and smooth its also not very expensive.....you don't have to use straightening creams and mousse and stuff like that

Just stop looking in the mirror... Just kidding.

I have straight hair and would love to have some curl in mine. It is funny how what ever we have we always want something else. Good luck on finding a happy medium....

i have the same problem. just use herbal essences none of ur frizziness shampoo and conditioner. its awesome! herbal essences is like the only kind that actually works. also put some baby oil in ur hair after u shower while it still wet. and avoid blow drying ur hair

Change your shampoo.
Use herbel essences, they work really good. There's ones made specially for friz and if you want ti to be sleeky and shiny.

Blow drying helps to instead of using a towel.
