I would suggest the wall behind the bed, especially if you have a cool or decorative headboard.

Paint the wall where the door is. That way when you come into the room you think it is all grey at first and then once you are inside you see the wall with the door is a surprise.

Either of two places.
1. The ceiling (that's the new thing now on these new decorating shows. It use to be popular to paint the ceiling white with all 4 walls the same color.

i would paint which ever wall you want to be the main focus point of the room red. say if you have a tv or entertainment center and you want that to be the focal point paint that wall red. if it is your bed that is going to be the focal point paint that wall red. you get what im saying?
