depends on the guy every guy is different. If he tries to make you laugh, if he waits for you, if he looks at you. If he is usually very outgoing and is shy around you, compliments you alot on the most random things. eye contact is a big thing, you can tell wether a guy likes you for who you are or for your body if his eyes never rise above your neck then forget about him. If he listens toyou, smiles at you. i find most guys are pretty obvious when it comes to that, and they try to send mixed signals, if he does dont worry about it he is just teasing with you so you can thnk about him more (like u sit up all night wondering wh he ignored you and thinkin about him) kinda like how girls play hard to get.

No two people have the same signs but sometimes at that age they will be shy around you or poke fun at you. I had a guy who threw little peices of paper in my hair in one of my classes and found out he liked me. The more mature ones would just tell you or send you a note or something. There are so many things. Just use your instincts.

I am not doing this for free points, To find out if someone your age likes you, well they show you respect, they are kind to you, and they always speak to you. But your first priority should be your school work, work on getting good grades!

Any sort of frequent attention that causes you to have mixed thoughts about whether or not he likes you is a sign that he's interested in you. Listen to what your gut is telling you. Don't let your doubts and insecurities cloud your perspective. Listen to your gut no matter what.

If he constantly gives you attention, good or bad, then he definitely likes you. If he didn't, he wouldn't bother with you.
Also, he might be more nice to you when you are alone with him, but mean when his friends are around. He might not want his friends to know that he likes you, so he acts mean to you during those times.

HE PAYS ATTENTION TO _YOU!_
HE LISTENS AND "HEARS" WHAT YOU SAY.
(Sometimes that attention is negative attention, but it's his only way of expressing his interest UNTIL you teach him otherwise.)
If he says he'll call and doesn't, I'd give him one (1) chance to make up for it and after that, HE'S HISTORY ! HE'S JUST NOT THAT INTO YOU.
