I suspect you mean 1934 in which case he would be 73.
If he had been born in 1834, it would be almost impossible for him to have fathered a child who is your father. Really, really unlikely - unless he was 70 when he had your father and your father had you when he was 45 and you are 60 yourself.

If he was still alive he would be 173 years old. Now I'm not saying it's impossible for someone that old to be your grandfather, especially if your father was the product of a winter/summer romance.
