I know what autism, depression and stress are, but I have not yet learned of what Asperger's Syndrome is.

I do suffer with depression, anxiety, stress, and panic--fortunately, medications and some therapy keep them in check. I am going to look up Asperger's--if I find anything out, I will be back.

Well, it looks as though some people with Asperger's are able to work and lead fairly normal lives. They are aware of their differences and social difficulties, and that is a good thing.

Sorry to hear about this. Go and see your GP and get some anti depressant medication and talk through what's worrying you. I have a son with autism and he is on a drug called Risperdol, but this may not be the right one for you. Go easy and take care.

We just found out that my nephew who is 4 may have aspbergers syndrome, but it's so hard to diagnose sometimes. My nephew is fully functional, but just different and I worry that this may lead to depression in him because of mistreatment and misunderstanding by peers when he starts school. How long ago were you told that you had aspbergers syndrome?

I don't have what you have but I work with kids with those syndromes. Go on medication. It'll make you feel better.
