This is an interesting question that deserves an answer I suppose. In nature it is common for females to be dominant. For instance, you can find an example of this in the mating rituals of black widows and redback spiders. In about 40 percent of the 200 or so species of primates the females are the dominant ones; examples of this can be found in squirrel monkeys and a few sub-groups of lemurs. If you are assuming that the Adam and Eve scenario must be fact, then if the tables were turned this would be a disruption of the natural order. But if we did become the dominant sex, in the sense that you are talking about, at least no one would have to worry about urine on the toilet seat or floor, there would be a dramatic decrease of women with body image issues and women would be totally comfortable with their sexuality.

In many ancient societies women did predominate, they were considered superior because they alone could reproduce. And the cultures survived for a time, like this culture survives for a time. So the answer to you question is male dominance is tied to the human culture, not nature or god and so in another human culture with dominate women things would be normal for that human culture and god and nature would not be affected. Ancient history is proof.

Either way you have one gender being dominant and excersising more power over the other. This is not how it should be as all people no matter what gender,race or religion should be equal as they are in heaven. No, God did not. The Biblical idea of authority involves service (as Jesus said, he who is last shall be first). Jesus exercised his authority by giving his entire being over for sacrifice. Jesus is the perfect husband, and the model for all Christians. In the Bible, godly authority is presented as an office of service, exercised to bring the one served to fulfillment.
