Acts 15:20-21 write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.

21 For Moses of old time hath in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day. KJV

Luke considered it a "given" that gentiles that received Christ would attend synagogue in order to gain a greater understanding of Moses and walk in obedience to Torah.

So gentile Christians met on Sabbath to hear Moses taught, then met on Sunday to fellowship with other believing Christians.

What do you think?

Sunday is a first day of work, Saturday are always the sabbath. otherwise is wrong. so people just put sunday a resting day instead of sabbath, that means we're sinning. I work on saturdays, the pain is always there as long as worked. so if you work on saturdays, you'll have serious cause of troubles, no matter where you had once been.

The Sabbath day was a day under the law.

The disciples of Christ continued to observe the Sabbath but met on the first day of the week to discuss there strategies to spread the new gospel. Apostle Paul preached that new Christians were not under the law and started keeping the new tradition that was started meeting on first day of the week that is where we are today except a few churches miss that new teaching and still practice observing on the sabbath

I believe that the Sabbath as law was fufilled when we by faith entered in to the Sabbath by accepting the atonement. The Sabbath was representative of God's rest the 7th day the day of his kingdom and Christ himself. We are instructed by Christ to go beyond the law so all days should be holy. We do meet on the day of his resurrection which is Sunday.

Of the creation in Genesis God rested on the seventh day. Therefore the last day of the week was considered the Sabbath.

This is where a lot of people disagree or agree as to which calendar we use. Depending on which one we use then the Sabbath is on Saturday, or Sunday. This is man's way of trying to justify what is right.

If you were to ask Heavenly Father, He would tell you it doesn't matter which day you use, just as long as you do it!

It's kinda like Christmas and Easter. They are backwards.

Jesus fulfilled the previous regulation Covenant and this replaced into symbolised via the tent of the tabernacle being lease in 2 on the 2nd of his dying for this reason, the sabbath is now no longer a call for for Christians - it replaced right into a Jewish prepare we would desire to continuously worship God on a daily basis so assembly on a Sunday, whilst maximum folk can attend, could be ideal to God

Yes, that is what was done in the early days.
As more gentiles became Christians, it became clear that being a follower of Christ did not require one to be a Jew. Therefore gentile Christians were not required to observe Jewish rituals. And Christians started teaching in places other than synagogues.
Even before Christianity, the Jews recognized gentile "God-fearers" who worshiped Yahweh without actually becoming Jews. So this idea was not entirely foreign.

From what the Bible says, God created the world and everything in it in six days and then rested on the seventh. Sabbath means the seventh day of the week.
I think it is man (humankind) who ascribed which was the first day of the week and which was the seventh day.
What I think is important is this - We have six days in which to take care of every thing in and every aspect of our lives. Is it too much to ask that we take one day in which to rest and remember, honor, give homage and thanks to the Creator? "Remember the Sabbath and keep it Holy".
If we, as humans, didn't respect that, we would keep on going down the road forgetting to "take a breather" and reflecting on our true meaning here on earth and the One who created this.
Please don't take one or two scriptures from the Bible and think that is "law". Read the entire book. All of it links together from beginning to end. OK?

Good point!

For us Christians, everyday is holy unto the Lord. There is no day that should be regarded as not for the Lord.
