You can use any kindyou have. You only need a drop. Try sewing machine oil or WD-40.

Your local beauty suppy store should offer the oil for the cutting shears. Or if you are not a pro stylist check out Sally's beauty supply in your area.

The beauty supply. Or, you can also use sewing machine oil. I believe it is the same oil.
