I am making rice krispie treats today with my daughter. The recipe says that if you dont have marshmallows you can use any jar version. I have a large container of Fluff & the recipe asks for a 7 oz jar. How much do I use? Is it more than a cup or so?

It's just less than one cup. If you use one whole cup, you will be fine! One cup has eight ounces, so if you fill it to be slightly less than one cup that would be about 7 ounces. But if you used a whole cup it would be just fine, too! Enjoy!!

Be careful with what I have seen in these answers. A cup is 8 ounces when you are measuring water. Fluff is lighter. The jar should have the weight measurement on it. You need to guess based on the jar weight stated. It ain't rocket science. Do you have a scale for the kitchen?
My guess would be more than a cup, maybe about a cup and a quarter.

I'd used the whole jar. 7 ounces is 1 ounces from being 1/2 pound. 70z is by weight. a cup is by volume. A little more or less isn't going to hurt the recipe. Either way the rice krispie treats will be great.

Read the jar. On the front it says how many oz by weight the fluff is.

(Fluff is so light that 7 oz is probably about 2 cups). Fluff isn't measured by volume...it is weight.

It's right between 3/4 cups and 1 cup. If you look on you measuring cup (if you have one of those glass ones) there should be a line between 3/4 and 1, which is 7 ounces.

Its one ounce less than a full cup. So if you add almost a cup of the fluff, you would be ok. If you have a measuring cup that has ounces and cups on it, look at that.
