buy a potty chair now and get her used to sitting on it . first with clothes on just let her play with it. at bath times sit her on it while her bath is drawing. like someone else said when she wakes up dry put her on the potty. a good sign is being able to pull her pants up and down and knows the potty word like pee pee poo poo and potty and understands what they mean. also watch her as she plays and try to learn when she is about to go or is going

My mom and I both work at the same daycare. She has the toddlers (1 and half, 2 years old and some 3 year old). I have the 3 and 4 years old. Pretty much all of the kids in my mom's room, except for maybe 2 or 3 are still not potty trained, but she takes them anyways so they will learn. My room is supposed to be the potty trained room, but it's not. I have 2 in my class that are 3 years old that are still in diapers/pull-ups and they don't use the potty ever!!! Then in the 4 and 5 year old class, they are some in there who still pee in the pants/wears pull-ups for nap. There's even some school kids I know who still not potty trained. The lady who trains us at they daycare says that every child learns, grows, develops, and etc. at different ages/levels. So, if someone says that your daughter should been potty trained by now then that's a lie. She will do it when she's ready. Don't ever try to force her to do it. I think you should try to work with her on it saying when she's wet or dirty, "remember what I or mommy told you, we pee and poop in the potty" and then show her the potty. If she's dry, take her and let her sit there for a little while and see if she does anything. If she starts to hide from you to go potty in her diaper/pull-up then that's a sign there that she knows she's not supposed to do it in her pants because mommy might get mad. I get that all the time. I have one kid in my class who is in underwear try to do that and he did it. I was so mad cause he knew how to use the potty, but he was just so much easier for him to go and hide from me and do it in his pants. Anyways, I feel like I'm typing a book, LOL, so I hope at least something in this information helps you.

Once she starts exhibiting some bladder control or expresses an interest in going to the potty. If she wakes up from a nap and has not wet her diaper or is dry in the morning it is usually a good sign that she is ready.

you cant potty train her you can help her but no do it yourself she has to be ready you ant force a child to go to the bathroom there body has to be ready. She will get a urge to go to the bathroom but wont this will tell you she is learning to deal with this she will get feelings to motion her that she needs to use the potty but you cant do only she can help her by showing her that you use the potty and reward her when she does sit her on the potty and sing a song to her always fun :)

When she starts hiding herself to go poop and telling you that she is wet or going to be. Look at her face when you know that she is going to go like after meals when her face shows you that it is gonna happen then take her and set her down on her potty chair, I found it easier to find one that will pull up out of the chair and stick on your toilet is easier they get used to going there instead of something that you have to deal with later, it is a lot easier.

Teach her the word potty first. Once she can say the word, that is the best sign. Every time she says it, you'll know. Take them every half hour.
