Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
’cause I know I don’t belong here in heaven...

Would you hold my hand
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you help me stand
If I saw you in heaven?
I’ll find my way through night and day
’cause I know I just can’t stay here in heaven...

Time can bring you down
Time can bend your knees
Time can break your heart,
Have you begging please...begging please

Beyond the door there’s peace I’m sure
And I know there’ll be no more tears in heaven...

Would you know my name
If I saw you in heaven?
Would you feel the same
If I saw you in heaven?
I must be strong and carry on
’cause I know I don’t belong here in heaven...

It isn't Really a State of higher being, You are who you are, befor and after You come out of your Body.
The Human Body gives you the Abiltiy to Have Physical Authority on the Earth, more so than when your not in it.
When you Leave the Earth for Good, you go to be in the Presence of Jesus.
Hope this helps.

Have you never been to a funeral?
Have you never been to a grave site?
The body is buried in a box suitable for the occasion.
That is let down into the ground where it remains for a period determined by local law. Usually 50 or more years, depending on the country. In Germany after the 50 year period the grave is reused and the remains are burned.
When a person dies his spirit goes back to God, it's owner.
In the general Resurrection, the person is resurrected as the spirit is returned to the area of burial. Kings and priests assigned to Jesus welcome the dead back to life, and instruct them what to, and how to live their new life.
If, and when a person behaves and is judged worthy, he/she >CAN< go on and live forever right here on this protected earth.
It does matter how they act, to be judged worthy.
It's actually all there right in your bible, it's just hard to understand without help. There are so many opinions that learning the truth can be nearly impossible unless you get to know the right people......Yes, we are those people, but I'll bet you don't believe me.

Death is inevitable. The thief on the cross knew when his would occur, but we can not predict our own. After his death, the crucified criminal went to live in paradise with Jesus. Some of us will also live eternally in God's presence. But others will experience everlasting torment, forever separated from Him.
If we receive Jesus as our Savior, our penalty for sin is paid. We are adopted into God's family, and Heaven is our eternal home. If we reject Jesus, we remain alienated from the Lord and under condemnation for our sin. We are destined to experience eternal judgment. God won't accept any of man's excuses because there is no acceptable defense for unbelief. (Acts 4:12)

The Bible says that it is appointed to all men once to die....and then the judgement.... Many People believe as do i..that at death we have to give an account for the lives we lead while here on earth... That our lives were given to us for a purpose, and some fulfill that purpose.... while others die having never known what their purpose is...As a Christian i believe that at death we will be judged according to our works as well as our Faith in God who created us..... At Death only the physical body dies...but our soul and spirit continue to live on....our bodies are only a shell that house who we really are..which is Living Souls.... our bodies enable us to communicate with one another and fulfill our God given purpose here on earth... However when the body dies our spirit and soul return to the One who created it....and we in turn have to explain why we did/didn't do what was required of us.... Those who fulfilled God's will for their lives will hear....Well done my Good and faithful servant, U have been faithful over a few things...so i will make u ruler over many and their souls will spend eternity with God ..... But to those who havent fulfilled God's will for their lives neither have they sought God, or believed in him....They will spend Eternity Separated from the presence of God in eternal torment....

I believe that we all go straight into the presence of God when we die. Our souls go there and our bones will be raised when Jesus returns in the end of time. So yes, I guess it is a state of higher being from my point of view.

The body goes to ground or cremation; the soul goes immediately back to God, whether its a Christian, athiest, good, bad, whatever. Everybody goes back to God.
To be absent from the flesh, is to be present with the Lord.
Nobody is in a hole in the ground. Nobody.
Just a bunch of flesh.
