well the more over weight you are the more pounds you lose, i'm not sure why. but since dec. 30 i have put myself on a "diet" again i hate that word! but i eat what i want, what i like but i only have ONE serving and then get away from the table. i also eat 6 mini meals. just to keep my blood sugar up. sometimes i get on my treadmill but i'm not a fanatic. so since dec. 30 i've lost 15 lbs.

that amount can be easily lost, but it will come right back. for a permanent loss, lose about three to four ponds a month and you'll be able to keep it off.
eating a large salad, little or no dressing, before eating the rest of the meal will fill you up with bulk, but not much caloric intake. you'll eat less of the remaining food and lose about 3-4 ponds a month and be able to keep it off. i've lost around forty pounds over the last year and am still losing, not worrying to much about what i eat, and like the salads, too

I've lost 5 kilos in my first week. It's my 10th day and I have included salad with some protein (eg. egg/ lean chicken) as you suggested. After 4 years of trying, the fat is finally coming off. It truly feels like magic!
