Toyota uses their own block.The 8 cylinder Toyota motor is built in Huntsville ,Alabama.

Toyota builds their teams the engines....they provide people to tune the engines for the teams! Its part of their contract. I heard Darrell and Larry pointing that out during one of the practice hours this week. The teams themselves arent allowed to do much with the engine as that is why Toyota has assigned them a member to tune the engine and make any changes for them!
