Deal with it later

Hi hun! In our daily battles, procrastination is the enemy. What's required is action---Even when we're afraid. What helps me is I make a list out eveyday. I have coffee and breakfast then I look on my list and take one item at a time and do it, I cross it off my list and I feel important, I feel successful. What Ever I don't get done today, I put it on my new list for tomorrow, believe me you will get it done. Nothing is so fatiguing as the hanging on of an uncompleted task. So make your list and get energized by saying great I'm going to get a lot done today. Think Positive and go to it. Hugs! Von

I'll let you know later!!! (Ha Ha Ha!!)

Seriously, I'm a terrible procrastinator and I've had to deal with it in the following way:

I only schedule a couple of things that need doing on a certain day, such as house work etc and then schedule something I'dlike to do, such as watch a programme on TV etc, and then make myself do the things that need doing BEFORE I do the thing I enjoy doing. That way things get done and I still get to enjoy myself as well.

I also schedule certain things on certain days, such as deal with my fish tanks on a tuesday and change my bed on a wednesday, things like that. It helps me, give it a go.

use it to your advantage when you are just using a little healthy extra added pressure by putting a task like christmas shopping off.

see your problem and plan way ahead if it is a huge project always break downthe task into chunks. use a note or whatever you have to............. say out loud what you want to do... tell a girlfriend, a friend, a parent, so you Have to follow through on your plan.

Make a daily list of things that you need to do, and the time that you will do them. Stick too it! If you are depressed it makes it hard to do just about anything, so keep that in mind.

Stir it up in bowl full of hope and expectation and never look back with regret and anger. What's done is done and cannot be undone.
