Steady state in a cylinder?

Could someone tell me where to find partial linear differential equations exercises (problem and solution); I'm specially interested in solving the typical steady state temperature in a cilinder with different bundary condditions; any hel will be appreciated

I'm going to assume that you're looking for a 1-dimensional heat conduction equation with boundary conditions. Here's a couple of links that will get you right to the subject.

One excellent site that deals with heat conduction with cylindrical coordinates is also given here, but unfortunately it's in PDF file, for which you'll need the Adobe Acrobat reader. The download is free, the last link will get you to the Adobe website for that.
