Most shops wont pierce anyone under about 13 even with a parent signature. So if you are 13 or older, I say call local shops and see which ones will do it at your age. I got my first cartilage piercing at barely 14 and now at 18 I have four more. If you do get it done, clean it well and don't sleep on it or play with it too much. Good luck, it will look great!
FYI, I live in Washington State and that is the general law. Shops vary but obviously you don't have to be 16 every where. Like I said ... 14.
As Zombie Eater said, your parent must be there at the time of the piercing and you must both show valid ID. Some shops might even require a birth certificate if you have different last names but that is on the extreme end.

Its not enough to have a parents signature. Your parent MUST be present with you at the time of the piercing and both of you must have valid picture ID.
Some places you can get piercings done as young as 13, but other places you have to be 15-16 and in a few states no mods are to be done on minors at all.
Check with state laws to make sure that as a minor you are able to be pierced and furthermore, check with local shops about their policy on piercing minors; there are places that won't touch a minor, no exceptions whatsoever.

in most states, you can get piercings done at age 16 with a parent's signature, without one, you must be 18 for any piercing.

in case you think of that she would be able to shelter it, decide for it. they are countless accountability in case you prefer to ward off infections, nonetheless, and a few 13 3 hundred and sixty 5 days olds at the instant are not in charge sufficient to do the prevalent maintainanace a piercing demands. If she is in charge, decide for it. in any different case, wait some years.
