spray tans or mousses are probably your best option if you want to do it yourself, as they give the most even spread of tan. avoid gels or creams because they leave streaky, uneven tan marks and are often a golden shade of orange!

I would recommend a bronzing moisturizer. Make sure that it doesn't streak. Oh! You know what's a good one, the 3 piece tanning set from Bath and Body works. They have an exfoliant, the bronzer, and the moisturizer for use after it. It's pretty good. And you don't look orange unlike other products.

natural sun tan is the best, and for your info, u will not get skin cancer unless u do it alot in an obsessive way.. i live somewhere where the sun is always shining and i'm outdoors alot, and i never got skin cancer neither did my older family members.
and a spray tan is good, it spreads better.

i use that spray tan and it actually looks pretty good! you just can't lay out in the sun anymore. i go to a place that does the spray tan and then i go back in a week or so. it looks pretty good and i'm white as a ghost normally.

use a self tanning lotion like jergens or go to a tanning salon and get a spray tan. don't use the tanning beds cause that's cancer in a box.

Fake Bake is the best brand I've used (try drug stores). Just don't get the gel, it streaks too much. Whatever you choose, use a scrub first and apply a good moisturizing lotion. That helps with even application.

i use Neutrogena's spray on tan (level 2- medium.... higher makes you turn orange easier). i love the color it gives me, and you can make it darker of lighter depending on what you want. i like the spray on tan because you don't run the risk of turning your hand and in between your fingers dark orange. you can buy it most everywhere. its a couple of bucks and one can will last quite a while.
