Area 51????

Why wont the goverment tell us what they are hiding in Area 51? Is it that big of a threat to the US? Why does everyone think they are hiding aliens from outerspace?

AREA 51 is where they test SECRET stuff like the U2, SR 71 and F117.

The B2 was tested at Edwards AFB in California as it ended being a "secret" program when Jimmy Carter blabbed about the B2 back in 1980 when he was running for re-election. Since he let the cat out of the bag, there was no reason to test the B2 at such a remote site as Area 51.

The F22 and JSF are also being tested at Edwards AFB.

Current view at Rachel, NV is that Area 51 is closed down.

No, every one is not beliving there are aliens (very old aliens by now?) in the area 51!!! Its just single minded people like yorself thats still talks and belives in that myth. Becouse that is what it is. No more no less. Area 51 is important to us gouvernment as a test site for advanced aircrafts and flying vehicles and that is it. They dont want to show it because it is where they are developing cutting edge top secret military technology that they dont whant to fall into enemys hand. Area 51 is an air feild. This is where we try out our new aircraft prototypes.. This was the first place we flew the B-2 Stealth Bomber, and the new F-22 raptor. This is why it is kept under wraps. We Fear it is a mater of national security to go flonting these things before they are finished and used on todays battle feild.

"Area 51" is where we can test secret military aircraft and such away from prying eyes. It's a privacy/national security thing that has nothing to do with aliens or space craft.

Why is everyone so stupid? They don't announce it to the general public, because the general public consists of morons who don't know whats good for a countries future. By announcing it they let anyone that they might later rely on the research undertaken in supposed secret against but the enemy would know all about it, thus making it pointless. They are probably just doing standard military research there, new weapons etc. Nothing sinister or evil.

For all the public knows there could be all the stuff from Roswell in the 50s, but its probably just a weapons testing facility; like new planes and stuff like that. You dont really want to test your highly advanced planes in open sight so other countries can copy it like the Russians.

They are probably hiding aliens, but there are 131 underground bases around the country that cost a fortune. And more are being built.

Why are they so scared they need to go miles down? its like they know something is coming that we dont.
