I would check out JABB Boxing gym. Check out the website - www.jabbboxing.com
I take my two little boys there - ages 5 and 12 on Saturday mornings. They have a 1 hour class just for kids. Some of the trainers there also train teenagers during the week.
I also train there for fun its a nice gym and nice people. They will help you. Hopes this helps.

The Windy City Gym is now closed so calling there won't get you anywhere. If you are not exactly in the City there are plenty of great gyms on the outskirts. Jesse "The Law" Torres in Aurora. Martin McGarry's in Beverly. Joliet Boxing Club formerly "Bucky's House of Pain" in Joliet (Free). Rocky's in Sugar Grove. Fuller Park Boxing Club. Hamlin Park Boxing Club. Loyola Park Boxing Club. Erkard Park Boxing Club. Pow Boxing Club in Coal City. Gods Gym in Elgin. Rudys Gym in Joliet. Chicago Matadors Boxing Club. Teamsters Boxing Club in Chicago. Golds Gym in Aurora. Degerberg Academy in Chicago. Scottsdale Park Boxing Club. Chicago Heights Boxing Club. Resurrection Boxing Club in Chicago. Top Notch Boxing Club in Chicago. Cornerstone Boxing Club in Chicago. Chicago Athletic Association Boxing Club.
Type in Chicago Boxing clubs and see what comes up. There's also the USA Boxing website that will give you plenty of information about gyms in your area.
Good luck, I know there's a few more out there. The Joliet Boxing Club (Bucky's House of Pain) is the only one that I know of that's free (815) 474 - 9815.
