I am not sure where it would be located and what it would look like.

Look through your grill or down in front of your radiator. If there is something that looks like a miniature radiator in front of your main raidiator then you have one.

Check for 3/8 tubing coming out of the transmission up to radiator tank, or a oil cooler radiator either in front of the radiator or in or under engine compartment.

4 X 4 usually implies manual transmission, they don't use coolers. Otherwise if it is automatic transmission look for a small cooler mounted in front of radiator.

most trans coolers are located in front of the radiator and ac condensor, usually 4 by 10 inches, you will also see lines coming from the trans going to it. also they are aluminum.
