Put the car up in the air, (saftyly please) and locate the break cable. It has what is called a turn buckle. It allows you to adjust the cable. Turn it with the break on untill it is tight and you can no longder turn the back wheels .

there is 2 ways of doing this the proper way or the way i like to call it the fast and easy way... the proper way is to lift the leather cover by the handbrake and you should see a 10mm nut on a long thread undo the screw right to the top after thats done place the car in the air remove the rear wheels and remove the drum by taking off the 4 13mm bolts (its easier if you remove the 15mm bolt at the bottom of the suspension strut) and that will make the drum come of. once thats done clean the shoes with some thin sandpaper/emiry cloth and with a flat screwdriver stick it in between the 2 teethed wheels then slowly with one hand firmly on the shoe with the screwdriver prise them apart till you hear clicks do this a few times till the drum feels secure and only free spins once then once thats boxed up go back to the handbrake and retighten the 10mm nut till you feel comfy with your brake... the fast and easy way which ive more or less told you is remove the leathe trim and tightten the 10mm nut if it doesnt go anymore you will have to do it the proper way
