My daughter lives in San Ramon does anyone know of a discount produce store like Jon's market or Valley Produce in the San Fernando Valley... thank you for all your help. ususally these places cater to othr cultures and have reduced meat prices also...any help would be appreciated..

Do not know of any places like that but Danville (practically next door) has a fabulous farmers market where she can get produce straight from the farmers, and usually at a reduced price. Its open every Saturday 9-1, at Railroad & Prospect.
She can take a short drive to Oakland or Berkeley for some ethnic grocery stores (too many to list)

I'm in the north bay area, and all I can really think of is Costco.
