How about some sweet potato fries Leave skins on deep fry , sprinkle with cinnamon and serve with honey to dip them in.( I cook mine in the microwave for a few minutes then slice into fries . This cuts down on the frying time) I beleive that the oj u r talking about is put in for flavor. A baked sweet poatato is delicious when butter and brown sugar are put on it

They are good cooked and mashed with butter, just like you do mashed potatoes. I don't care to add the marshmallow stuff in them. Just yams and butter, a little salt, yummmm!
