I have to agaree with you because if we were to leave Iraq right now the war would end up makeing it over here and further more if Hillary makes it in to the presidential seat well we will all be faced with war knocking on our door. So many people think that this war is unjust and illegal well i hate to inform you that with out us soooo many innoccent people mostly children have been abused, manggled and eventually killed because of one man whom we helped to put into office over there and were asked to come and remove. So we are just doing our job I know soo many people are tired of seeing our troops die and or be seriosly injured but one they voulonteered for the job by going into the service two they care enough about our country to see to it that it is finished over ther and doesn't come home. Because it will if it isn't finished.

I think you've missed the point. The majority of the protesters of whom you speak are not anti-war, they are anti-Iraq war and anti-Bush's pro-war policy.
As far as biting a hand goes, perhaps you should try a different metaphor. We, through our taxes, feed the military, in return for their protection against foreign attack upon our populace.
What is being disputed is whether sending troops to Iraq has made us safer or is going to make us safer, and whether that's been done in the most efficient and credible manner. When all those lives are lost and bodies damaged, and all that wealth is spent, we the people have a right and a duty to voice our opinion on it.

Very few would protest a just war. However the invasion of Iraq has proved not to be neither just nor legal. It was the protesters who put the pressure on the politicians to end the Vietnam war. Perhaps they can help now. If you are so concerned drag your butt down to the recruiting station and join the army. Personally I don't want any more of our young people killed for the politicians.

First off, Theres nothing wrong with the war in Iraq, this wasnt about WMDs and it wasnt b/c of 9/1, and it wasn't b/c of oil. Those Iraq's were being tortured, maybe if the gov. posted pics of all the crimes against humanity that Iraq's former dictator order they would have lessto protest about. Secondly, I thinks its ok to protest a war to the politcians but to protest a soldiers funeral is a differnet story, some even protest in the streets with signs thanking God for IEDS and all soldiers dshould die b/c they are disobeying God. **** them and if I ever see one protesting a funeral, I am going to beat the living **** out of them.

I'm a veteran and I protested the illegal war in Iraq. ( Iraq did not do 9-11 and WMD are lies ) Also as a veteran I served for the right to protest and no one can take that away from me.

The turning element for the Vietnam conflict replaced into while Nixon asked the Joint Chiefs of team what the plan replaced into to win the conflict. while they spoke back that there replaced into no plan, Nixon desperate adequate replaced into adequate. in assessment, while being interviewed for the pastime of commanding the european theatre for international conflict 2, Eisenhower reached into his briefcase and presented a plan he'd drawn up. It replaced into an magnificent and very distinctive plan of action that he'd created on his very own initiative. He replaced into quite the perfect candidate, and he did get the pastime accomplished.

Exactly. If America was invaded and people were being murdered everyday (no army could pull anything like that off, present day, against America); these same Americans would be begging Britain or Israel or the UN or NATO or WHOEVER to come in and help.

We have the right, nay DUTY, to protest when a war is being poorly managed, or was the wrong thign to begin with. To be silent, or to wave the flag with the Rah-Rah, would NOT be doing this country any favor.
